Ivan Chew founder of 1 For All Pte Ltd, has been in the pest management industry since 2008, after making a drastic switch from the banking industry.

Starting off as a field technician, he painstakingly worked his way up, progressing to a Quality Assurance Executive, and eventually became an Assistant Operations Manager. The harsh working environment in both SME and MNC has trained him to be independent, resourceful and innovative in his approach to resolving pest infestation. 

He has served a wide range of clientele in various industries, ranging from residential homes, commercial buildings and food establishments to complicated factories. Integrated Pest Management is the key that drives his passion. With his strong conviction that all pest issues can be overcome with scientific reasoning and a touch of common sense, he quickly earns the trust of many clients for his keen attention to detail and exceptional service, particularly in the F&B sector where he has carved out a niche for himself.

In 2018 while serving as an Operations Executive at a home-grown pest control company, he was given the honor of representing the industry in a recording by Channel News Asia, as part of a CNA series that profiled some of Singapore's "essential but underappreciated jobs". (Read more about it here: Channel News Asia) Pest control is a job that requires more than spraying and fogging - expert knowledge on pests biology, pesticide chemistry and structural design is often required for a holistic approach to pest infestation. As the "spokesperson" of the day, he was determined to change the perception of the public that pest control is a low-value and dirty job for those who do not possess an academic qualification. This media appearance marks the culmination of his career. As a result, he became an overnight celebrity and a familiar face in the industry.
